For the last two years or more we have been keen to enter into the annual film awards host by ITFFA (International Tourism Film Festival Africa) but each year we were never ready with what we felt was a suitable video to submit.

Last year Mel put in a great deal of effort compiling a fantastic advertising video of the camp. Utilising her videography skills and improving her skills with the drone, she captured some beautiful scenes that really portray what the camp is all about.

Hours of hard work editing the video, adding a voice over soundtrack and finally happy with the final product, she submitted our entry into the ITFFA 2025 competition.

Earlier this week we were informed that from an initial list of 442 entries from 59 different countries, we had been chosen as one of 141 finalists. We feature in the Tourism product category along with 28 other finalists.

The awards ceremony is being held in Johannesburg from 3-6 June and so we will attend and hope to come back to the camp with either a Gold or a Silver award.

Mel has worked extremely hard on this project and deserves all the credit for this success.
